continuous length of  Viton o-ring cord?

Yes but not Viton... TES :-) Forget Viton.
It is hard to mill O-ring slots that wander all over the place with a
regular mill.

It also appears the bearing surface was cut down by the same amount?

I am not sure about that. Could be as this is only a one
rotor and the main bearing loads could be lower. Richard
did not want to separate the rear composite housing as it was too
much work putting it back together so I could not get a
picture of the inside.

Here is some clarification about my one rotor:

I do not pay any attention at this time to the useability of the
modifications on any two or more rotor engine.
When I said " o-rings as much as possible", I mean simple circular o-rings.
I am not there yet, but I have not given up hope either.
The conversion is 90% done, and the remaining 90% will be done next!

The PTO side end housing mod is comparatively simple and as of today has
reached my o-ring goal.
