IMHO in Klauses case he is putting a lot more electrical energy through
them than the magneto provides. He is also useing a waste spark
system that does not help. In our case lead fouling seems to be
the limiting factor. Once we have that fixed with hotter plugs
perhaps they may last longer with the stock inductive system.

Hi Paul -  Would massive electrode or fine platinum wire plugs  help  ?

I would think you would have a problem with heat range with
a massive center electrode. It would run too cool.

In my experience platinum plugs last longer.
