    Nice work, Bill.  I am also pursuing an approach using rigid tubing.  I'm trying to find
    some kind of flexible (semi-rigid) material of about the diameter of the pipes to
    "model" the system before getting into welding of the tubes.  Did you find a way to do
    that?

Al take a look at that corrugated SS water pipe from Summit Racing.
Chuck Dunlap seems to be having good luck with that stuff.

For modeling, don't forget PVC water pipe. You can even have a stainless exhaust
system custom fabricated using pvc pipe as a pattern.
