Here is an idea I had this morning. The pressure tank
is made from roughly a six inch diameter aluminum pipe
and welded directly to the water pump out let.
It uses the Ian Beadle cooling system design.

Saves two cooling plumbing joints and a mounting
bracket for firewall mounting. Also might save one or
two plumbing angles as the outlet can come straight out
of the bottom of the can for direct connection with a
bottom mounted rad. The part extending up above the
pump can be tailored to the room you have under the cowl.
