Subject: Alternator mounting

Hi, Paul....I have my 13B mounted on my SQ2000, and I find that the alternator needs to be
relocated, and the water pump neck is too tall to fit the cowling without making an unsightly,
draggy "bump" in the cowling. I seem to recall recently a photo of another builder's solution
where the alternator was moved to the side, and a much lower water pump neck was used. Any
info/pictures available that might help? Attached is a picture of what I presently have. Thank
you for your time and research. Paul Conner, Mobile, AL

Paul this is a better way of doing the alternator as you
get a better wrap on the e-shaft V belt pulley.
