I used pieces of exhaust pipe tubing (.062") and Devcon Plastic Steel. I
formed the end of the tube over the back of the vice jaws to fit the square
inner ports. I left enough tubing outside the housing to use two hose clamps
on the radiator hose connection to the intake tubing. Cost should be no more
than $50.00.
Using the upper port on a 6 port to determine closing seems fine to me.
Rotaries are less sensitive to late intake closing than piston engines.
