I agree from personal experience Paul. My rad is under the engine, the
only possible
place to put it.  I put an exit duct on the rad and the cooling went to
hell, had to remove it and leave it open to the breeze.
I now have big louvres on the upper cowl above the oil cooler, so it's
probably about as good as it's going to get for the oil.

BTW Perry is using a tiny water rad compared to all other rotary
installations I have seen so far. My guess is about 13 by 15 by 1.75.
What are the dimensions Perry.

Shorter :-) I don't know. I would guess around 12 to 18 inches.
Why don't you put some rubber hose and hose clamps in there?
