OAT above which water does not cool during climb?  Reaches 204
redline when OAT is 92 F at WOT climb @ 130 mph climb speed, 2000 fpm

OAT above which oil does not cool during climb?     Reaches 210
redline  (same conditions as water)

                    Above figures have not been re-tested since making
cooling inlet improvements inspired by Paul's pressure tests.   Max
allowable OAT is higher now                     but won't have exact number
until next summer.


Max climb rpm        5400 @ 130 mph
usual cruise rpm        5200 - 5300
carb,efi, ei, turbo        EC2 EFI , Normally aspirated
reduction ratio            2.176 - 1   RD-1B


Engine type (13B or 20B)     89 turbo block w/ 9.7 - 1 CR rotors
Gross Weight, Max Weight   1500 lb  (Van's rating)   Has been flown at
1650 w/ CG within spec. range.
Significant modifications         NA rotors in turbo block.  No
significant porting.
