Paul, that is an interesting rotor on the far right.
Do we know any details on it?
We couldn't visualize what you were talking about when you said rotors could be made from sheet
stainless/titanium, but that is a way there, although don't know how it seals the oil.

It is fraom a Wankel Germany small two rotor. Cast iron or cast steel. 
Used roller bearing.
