Give me your address and we will send you a shaft to practice on.
Since it will be cut down anyway you can test the front main journal,

and the

front rotor bearing journal.  We use the rear rotor for the single

rotor.

I have a couple of shafts just vegetating, and have no problem testing
them on areas other than bearing surfaces. (due to the indentation).
However, if you have a shaft to send, and do not care where it is tested,
it can be sent to my airport shop.
