Mazda is claiming an outstanding 10% improvement in compressor
efficiency with this design used on the very late 280 HP RX7's
sold in Japan. As Monty mentioned, the secrets are in the compressor
wheel. 240 ft pounds of torque at 3000 RPM :-)
