 Hi Charlie,  It is all about timing.  To get the IO that I wanted the
 largest hole that could be bored (centered in the lathe) was 1.5
 inches.  The bottom of  the bored hole is exactly at the intake
 opening position.  A bigger bore would open sooner, obviously.   The
 bore could be made the same through the runner and insert by
 decreasing the runner bore to 1.5 inches.  I think it would be more
 than adequate for  the rpm's but I would like to use Paul's injector
 holder casting which has a 2 inch o.d.  As is,  I like the little
 venturi created by the chamfer and the blending to the the 1.75 bore.
 We will not know until the dyno.    This is the first drawing and I'm
 not locked in.    I  think that the bore, even if only 1.5 inches
 throughout would be adequate for the rpm's (7500 max) .  Jerry

 P.S.  I started with the Leman port location and worked from the
 center of that to the I.O. and I.C. that I wanted.

Jerry you might want to machine a ridge on the end of
the pipe so a hose cannot slip off once the hose clamp
is tightened down. My castings don't have it due to minimum
wall thickness problems so a small groove should be
ground in with a die grinder.
