BTW If those shafts are too hard to drill take the whole
works to an EDM shop and have them eat six bolt holes in the shafts.

BTW is any of these pin shapes similar to your idea!.

Electro Discharge Machining or some such. Can machine super
hard metal materials.

No but the bolts alone will take the shear load on their
own. No need to get fancy with longer spacers and counter bores.
Just drill out the shafts as large as possible and put bolts
through them.
