The big problem with doing a bell housing casting is the pattern is too large for the 3D
machine. I would have to pay big bucks to have the pattern made. The foundry can do 0.140 wall
and I will soon have some parts with about that wall thickness.

Could the pattern be made piece-wise from individual runs of the 3D machine?
