Mike,
The Gearbox using the Ford Planetary and the 'Ring Gear' driving the prop is
a ratio of 2.17:1 and runs counter (anti) clockwise (which is clockwise for
a pusher).
The 2.85:1 runs anti-clockwise for a pusher (driven by the planetary case).
