Are you trying to create a co-axial counter-rotating pair of props for a
pusher? If so, look at what the Leon brothers did for their "twin Cozy".
They mounted the engines opposite, and then used a pair of belt PSRUs to bring
the props together (co-axial). By having the engines mounted opposite (i.e.
one forward facing and one aft facing), they are naturally counter-rotating.

The Leon brothers had problems with vibration-induced cracking, but that may
have been aggravated by the inline 4 cylinder 4 stroke engines they were
using. I would expect a similar setup with Wankels to have less of an issue.
BTW, I'd mount the engines with the plugs to the inside and the exhaust to the
outside, and use oil pressure engaged/driven tensioners (for automatic
"feathe
ring").
