Grass Roots Motorsports Magazine says that the Star Mazda racing series will
convert to the Renesis engine for the 04 season.

That could mean a bunch of great 13B race motors for cheap. And the Renesis
engine will be flogged to death in a racing setting. Thousands of miles at
near full tilt to work out the bugs. In the Star series the engine will be
limited to 240 HP. We have been bugging Mazda to get some RX-8 bodies into
the field for free for Runoffs qualifiers, or at least for cheap. I would
rebody my car if I can get the body for cheap. They claim they have the bucks
made up and are looking for a Glass body builder to turn out the parts.

Yes we saw the Star Mazda car with what looked like an RX8 motor
mockup in Anaheim at Seven Stock.

Speaking of bell housing motor mounts :)
