He was talking about  splitting the rotor in two and having the "side
seals" in the middle, sealing between the two halves of the rotor.
This would allow the entire side of the rotor to be used as a sealing
surface and open up the sides of the rotors for porting.

We also discussed the efficiency gains of using multiple compressor
sections.  The running prototype ran on the inflow from a grass blower,
spark ignited.  Marty said he would like to play with a turbine engine
to get some hands on understanding, to help him with the two-stroke.  I
recommended a Solar T-62 for being inexpensive and readily available.
I will likely see one in his shop soon.  He just brought a 1902 curved
dash olds in from california.

I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to review the equations
you sent yet.  The machinist said the dwg I forwarded wasn't enough for
him to make a housing.
