Subject: PowerSport powered Velocity mystery devices.
Can anybody identify these things? They appear to be oil/water
heat exchangers but I can't find the water plumbing in and out.
They are not the oil filters unless they are using four.
Perhaps they have been bypassed by the owner having already discovered
that they are a bad idea in general. Probably replaced with
a conventional oil cooler. Any glycol/water cooling system is
marginal at best so why add to its problems. Oil does not boil
in our temperature ranges so it makes a fine parallel cooling
system.

Paul,
I think they are dual fuel filters (with cooling fins!). It looks like
that white thing beneath it may be a fuel pump.
Those are fuel lines. I have never seen any like that before, can anyone
identify the manufacturer or were they home made-many items on this
plane appear unique. A nice appearance! You could eat off this engine.
