No but I will take another look. I think you are right. Why two?
     I suppose one for each fuel tank.

     It occured to me that there may be good reason for two filters

(with fins).  Can't tell

     from the pic, but probably one on the supply line; one on the

return.  Two reasons - one

     is the velocity RG has about 4.5 ga. sump tank, and the fuel return

from the FI system

     is normally back to the sump.  If you are #10 in line for takeoff,

say 20 minutes,

     you've recirculated most of that fuel about five times; heating it

some each time.  The

     filter/cooler could help keep the temp down if there is some

reasonably cool air around

     those fins.

     The second reason is that there are generally small bubbles of

volitile fractions

     returning downstream of the pressue regulator which result in

fluctuations in a flow

     meter readings, and foam over the fuel in the sump.  The

filter/cooler can provide for

     removing (recondenseing) the bubbles.
