I don't know much about electronics, but how about cannibalizing the
knock circuit in the 13Brew ecu to see how it does it and the components
involved, more or less reverse engineer it to suit our purposes? Also
the J&S aftermarket knock sensor could be utilized as a model since they
are used a lot in the racing rx7 crowd?
Both have an output command to minutely retard the ignition timing to
eliminate the incipient knock, without much reducing the power which of
course we may not want to do!
I do not think Tracy's ecu has an input for this kind of signal, but
several of the racing fi/ign computers do.

That is real tough to do. There are probably thousands of lines of
code in your average car ecu.
