Water injection, if I am not wrong, doesn't make water circulate
through the fuel system. My concern is the presence of water in the
fueling system, any place, and the corrosion, oxidation, freezing &/or
displacement of combustible it could produce anywhere, anytime.

You are correct that with ADI the alcohol does not flow through the rest of the fuel system.  My
point was, the fuel will be used by the engine with no problems.  And Paul, Vance and myself all
pointed out that there is some fuel system compatibility problem with the use of alcohol that must
be addressed. Most of the concern, to use Vance's term, is at the soft part level.  Metal
components should not be a problem.  Keep in mind that we in the upper midwest have been using
alcohol blended fuel in our cars for quite some time now and have no extra problems.  Because
water and alcohol mix the water will no longer be separate from the fuel.  Alcohol lowers the
freezing point of water and ice will not be a problem.  Ala HEET used in our gas tanks here.

When I was stationed up in Canada about 48 years ago on the Pine Tree radar
line and it got 40 below on the road home in the middle of the night 
the engine would sometimes stop when the fuel line froze. I would 
jump out of the car, grab the can of HEET (although we did not call 
it that in those days) out of the trunk and pour it into the gas 
tank. By the time  I could jump back in the car and start the engine 
it had already worked. Went right to the water freeze and thawed 
it out in seconds.
