I don't think I will be flying with those SCAT tubes, that is for
development.  The tubes will have to be contorted into such a strange
path it is impossible to predict on a CAD drawing.  So I will use those
until it's all mounted in the plane, then make fiberglasss replacements.
 I use a 3" SCAT tube now between the airflow sensor and the throttle
body and have had no problems in 400 hours.  That is some pretty stiff
wire coil inside that tubing as you will find out if you have to cut it
or bend it.

If it is SCAT with an inner liner the inner liner has been known
to separate and block the air flow.

Don't say "impossible" That is like waving a red flag in front of a
bull :)
