Not a question of liking it or disliking it. It just screws
up everything. Probably just another dirty trick on Microshits part
in an attempt gain absolute control over something. Anything! :)

Hi Paul -

Here's me thinking *.DOC  was the main problem  format !  Actually
attached  word documents  are often firewalled at the RX end out over
here , thanks to the { now infamous } security holes.  I won't mention
malicious use of Active-X ,  Java , Javascript,  Flash & Shockwave or
V.B. either ......

Oh - I don't know why but internal modems just seem to drop dead  on me
after about 12 months - this on 3 different machines , checking all
the obvious things like ISA bus freq. and case temps. & so on.
Never seen this happen with network cards either.
 Fourtunately I use external modems  these days , & spread the word for
others to do likewise arrgghh !
