   The largest part of the insert is where the butterfly will be.  The
extra wall thickness  is for the  butterfly shaft bushings.  The
width of this can be cut down considerably from 1.250 to .5 inches.
The outboard end is 2" o.d. and internally tapers from 1.75 i.d down
to 1.5 i.d. for the butterfly.  The part sticking through the housing
will be trimmed to a flush fit and squared up but I don't want to to
do that until we are working on a 13B housing as the insert will
penetrate that housing deeper.

Nice Work Jerry, Let me know when your ready to do 13B housings, I'll order two from Mazdatrix and
have them shipped to you.  If you'll have the work done and sell me two inserts I'll do the
install and fitting.  What will the cost be for the mill work and inserts?  Let me know.  I'm a
ways off from needing it but I can store until I'm ready.

Oh by the way I'm heading to Corona this weekend for the RV building course at Aircraft Spruce.
How far from Mazda Trix will I be? anyone know?

You will be about 30 to 45 minutes in the middle of the day
when the traffic dies down. 10 AM to 2 PM. Well over an hour during
rush times.

Take the 91 west (Riverside Freeway) to the 10 south (Harbor Freeway) 
and then to the 405 south (San Diego freeway) to Signal Hill near the 
Long Beach Airport Cherry xxxx exit. Go west and north a few blocks.
If you need more details let me know and I will dig up a map.
