Non hardening Permetex will do it, but is hell to get off. I use a pan gasket
against a flat sheet of aluminum for a pan, with a bit of GE Silicone tub and
tile caulk. No leaks. Also good instead of exhaust flange gasket. So long as
the flange is flat. Never had a leak there either.
