         Thanks Ken - so the Subaru Legacy starter will save a
couple of pounds (right off the nose for us tractor guys!) plus it
is more plentiful.  Make a note guys!

     Cheep and readily available, I get them out of the wrecking yard
for 25 bucks.
  Also I forgot to mention that there are a couple models, the 94 and
later are lighter than the earlier ones.
  Also I have one that is from about a 85 that the gear protrudes
farther out than the 90 and later ones.
