Subject: New intake manifold.

Stopped up at the foundry on the way to the
hangar and low and behold they were pouring the intake
manifolds as I walked in. Will have the parts in the next
couple of days. Too hot to take with me.
Will fit all engines up to RX8 with some porting.
No porting required on four ports up to 93.

How many can handle just a raw casting?

Paul:
I want a raw intake manifold and a set of injector holders (for 4
injectors) - also raw. These will make a nice intake - much cleaner than
what I have welded up. Let me know the cost and your mailing
address. I'll
send you a check.

OK that is one set. That leaves eight sets out of the first batch
as I will be using one set my self.

Don't know the cost yet Gaylen. I'll know more in a
few days when I get the foundry bill.

BTW is anybody interested in having them polished? We have quite a
manufacturing infra structure for that sort of thing here in SoCal.

Paul,
Would this intake work with a 88 thru 91 NA motor? If not what
mods would be required?

It will work. If it is a six port extensive porting will be required
with a die grinder to feed both upper and lower outer ports. If it
is a six port IMHO you will get more power if you remove
the divider in the cast iron end housing with a die grinder
as in Mike McGee's pic shown here.

If it is a four port you are home free.
