   I'm delighted to announce that the LAEV Blades are in transit to me from
Perry's........
Yes, feast your eyes on these beauties designed by Bill Freeman, thank you
Bill, who did an absolutely bang-up hi-tech job of it. Built by Perry Mick,
whom as you all know is by no means a stranger to "Goo-Goo" construction and
processes, what a great job!
Bill, Perry, if the Blade's performance matches their looks, there's going to
be a lot of fast planes out there :)
This is the result of Perry's 1st iteration, of both "Recipe" and "Technique".
The bad news is, the Blade came in over-weight (What else is new) :( at 9.5

lbs

each........The good news is, Paul and Perry both have put their heads

together

on the process and are very confident that the 2nd set will meet the target
weight of 7 lbs. :)

We will however be employing these for testing the Hub which will be subjected
to 26% higher centrifugal cyclic forces......GARGANTUAN would be an under
statement.

Perry, chime in on this and edge protection etc. etc.

More after I have them installed on the Hub.

will be a while before working on FF comences but its becoming clear many of us will
owe much gratitude to all you who have given of yourselves in technices, engineering,
opinions, testing, designing, parts, developing, etc.
