Dave Garber still has his DG1 up for sale.
Make a reasonable offer. Dual turbo charged 12A engines.
350 HP each. Bell 47 helio final drive gear boxes for PSRU's.
About 3:1. 25 foot wing span aprox 350 MPH.
They are very strong engines as I ran them myself at
Sun & Fun last year. 56 inches of Mercury at 7000 RPM
manifold pressure. The engines were built by Racing Beat
and recently overhauled by Racing Beat. Three blade ground
adjustable metal props.

The airplane is located in Leesburg Fl.

Paul, Why is he selling? Seems it would be tough for anyone else to
take over that project!

Dave is getting a bit old to be fooling around with such a
high performance aircraft. Me too :) I would do some development
on it if I had the time and the hangar space. Dan Grey has already
agreed to do the test flying if I had the time to put into further
cooling development. You will also need a 5000 foot runway minimum.
Not so much to take off but to land as the brakes are marginal.
That rules out Santa Paula.

It would look better with a bubble canopy too.
