Hello DeWayne and all.  No, nothing, nobody out of the dozens of places we
have called have called us back.  Not the EAA, not any of the numerous
insurance agencies.  Its as if it is a silent message.  Bill and I are now
becoming educated on 0-360s and 0-470s.  Yes, its like that now.  Anyone
want to buy an entire prestine Ford V-6 +ReDrive setup firewall forward with
3 hours on it?  Sad but true.  Bill (my father) is now 67 yrs old and has
been working/waiting to fly this MK4 for 10 years.  He feels he doesn't have
to much longer that he can hang onto a medical certificate, he wants to fly
now before its too late and enjoy his last healthy years doing what he wants
to do.  Flying without insurance is not an option for us.  The Santa Paula
airport is small and crowded with very little room for mistakes.  If there
were an accident, especially with injury, life financially would be over.
