Hi, Paul....I noted that in a recent post that the new Mazda engine has

a lower exhaust temp.

What, if anything could be done to make our older 13B engines the same?

New rotor housings?

Machining?  Just curious if it is possible to modify our older

technology to the new (within

reason cost-wise).  Thanks in advance for your replies.  I appreciate

the work you do to help get

New RX8 end housings. Then you can have both. Peripheral and side
exhaust ports.

Of course, the engine is so new that end housings are probably not available
yet. Once an engine is manufactured by Mazda, how long do you think it might
be before these end housings actually become available?  Thanks for your

Crashing never sleeps. Within weeks of first deliveries there will be an engine 
in a junkyard some place. I am quite sure the engine is already in production as 
I am sure Mazda wants to stock up the dealers and satisfy initial sales. Galpin 
Mazda here in LA has 9 on order according to the sales person. Galpin is probably
only one of a dozen Mazda dealers in So Cal. I'll bet if I went down to Racing
Beat they probably have one on the dyno as we speak.
