My sentiments exactly. Stay away from ladders Tracy and other

risky

activities. Flying a rotary is OK :)

    When my engine is started in cold weather it will usually fire up

around

1200 rpm and then as it warms up advances to 2000 rpm.  In warm weather

it

will immediately go to 2000 with throttle open a crack.  I think that in
cold weather, using the cold start switch, I get an overly rich mixture
initially which accounts for the low starting rpm and then as the engine
warms up it leans out the mixture.

Or the oil pump is sucking up less HP :) What kind of oil are you
using Ed?

Could be- since I am using a 20/50 weight oil and it does crank more
sluggish in cold weather.  Right now I have the Royal Purple synthetic oil
that Chuck Harbut used.  But, I am going to switch to Mobile Synthetic
during the annual.  Cheaper, plus I won a case of it {:>)
