value when using a RWS EC-2 system?  2) Is a boost pump of any value
(upstream of the gascolator).  If you respond, an explanation of your

Yes, a gascolator serves two worthwhile functions.  Separates out the water
and the screen in it filters out debris before it gets to the pumps.  I used
a single EFI type filter after the pumps to catch the really fine stuff.
Unless you have a system like Ed Andersons,  the boost pump is not needed if
you keep the pumps at or below the fuel tank level.
