Not recommended Kevin. The water pump might not be up to it and it is hard
to duct air in and out of the heat exchanger. You will not be able to get
a suitably shaped (thin, large area) rad in a pod under the engine. If 
the rad is too thick sufficient air will not flow through it. Cutting large holes 
in the RV8 fuse and putting the rad in the aft fuse would be a bad idea. 

Running the pipes through the cockpit with hose or other joints is 
also a bad idea as a leak can cause scalding water in the cockpit. No fun.

Also you will have the additional drag of the belly scoop. There is plenty 
of room in an RV8 cowl for one horizontal rad and an oil cooler under the engine. 
Simple and short plumbing. Direct air in an out of the rad. Optimum minimum 
drag solution for cooling the rotary. Our biggest problem.
