That last photo fits very nicely inside my monitor screen. However most photos that you send overlap all around the screen. What can I do at my end that will keep the incoming photos inside the size of my monitor screen?

There should be scroll bars on the Outlook Express you are using.
If you don't want to use those you could get a screen with higher resolution.
