That outlet duct is a no no Russell. Extensive work has been done on
heat exchanger outlet ducts and all recommend a straight sections before trying
to turn the flow. Have at it if you wish. No harm in confirming what
has already been done many times before. If the CFD does not show
a problem there is something wrong with the CFD.
