Yes and no,
I got one of the 3 you sent, but only by being logged on. Something has
changed, and i am trying to get it figured out.

Guys, I have the same problem but the pics are there, just not being renderd correctly by aol.
Scroll down to the bottom of the errant message there will be a line there..sometimes a colored
line, keep "rigtht clicking" on the line, get your pointer arrow tip right on it. When you hit it
just right you will see the option "edit picture", chose that and you will be able to view the
pic. Sometimes I get one picture and two lines or all lines. Helps to check how many pics are
attached.

Hi Paul,
Early this week I opened an attachment of a graph of some description
that you posted on ACRE and lost all the e-mail from my in box, 2000
+.
Paul this was the KLEZ worn virus.
I have been using Thebat e-mail program from Ritlab or WWW.ritlab.com.
This is the best e-mail program I have used. When I attempted to open
this file it told me it was a virus, I decided to test it out and it
was telling me no lies.

Oh BTW a lot of virus checkers erroneously find viruses in gif's and pic as
gif and pics are seemingly random collection of binary data which
can be properly interpreted in some case as computer code.

The difference is how the code is interpreted. If you can get
the processor to consider a gif or jpg as code no telling what
it would do. BTW One of the bad guys tricks is embedding secret 
ASCII messages in gif's and jpg's in prearranged positions of
the gif or jpg file.
