READING FROM A DISTANCE FOR A

WHILE AND HAVE FOUND YOUR NEWSLETTER INFORMATIVE, BUT JUST A HAIR OFF

BASE FOR WHAT I'VE GOT IN

MIND.

I AM TRYING TO PUT TOGTHER A P[OWER PLANT OF APPROX. 100 HP AND LESS

THAN 175 LBS TOTAL WEIGHT. I

HEAR TELL OF A SINGLE ROTAR UNIT OFFERED BY ATKINS THAT MAY FIT THE

BILL. I AM INTERESTED TO HEAR

FROM ANYONE WHO MIGHT HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SUCH A PIECE OF EQUIPMENT.

CAN ANYONE ACTUALLY EXPECT TO GET THAT KIND OF OUTPUT VS WEIGHT OVER THE

LONG HAUL. I'VE SEEN

CLAIMS OF 2000 TBO, 1500 TBO, AND OTHER CLAIMS I'M HAVING TROUBLE

SORTING OUT THE FACT FROM

FICTION.

PLEASE HELP. ANY ADVISE, COMMENTS OR OTHER INSIGHT WOULD BE GREATLY

APPRECIATED. I LOVE THE IDEA

OF ROTARY POWER AS OPPOSED TO RECIPRICATICATING MACHINES AND WOULD TRULY

LOVE TO FIND THE

POWERPLANT AND REDUCTION UNIT TO POWER A ZENAIR, CH701. A HIGH WING STOL

AIRCRAFT. I AM A FIRM

BELIEVER IN GETTING THE EXPERIENCE OF OTHERS AND LEARNING FROM THEIR

MISTAKES.

Yes of course.  It does indeed have that kind of output verses weight :)
Not as good however as a two rotor engine.
