Impossible to say what it was on any given Ross drive, That's why I

always

answer "No" when asked if the Ross flywheel can be used with the

RD-1A/B.

The flywheel on my Ross was a custom aluminum part.  I think they used
whatever they could lay hands on at the time.

It could be that they used the smaller auto flexplate and when it became
more scarce they used the same ring gear with an aluminium plate, to keep
the same size.
