Marc,

Would it be possible for you to give the dimensions of the exhaust
manifold you took to the first
Rotormotor? I think it was SS and maybe from Racing Beat? Also which
way
the flange faces for the
turbo to bolt to. Thanx.

Sorry for the late reply as I am moving to 5TX0, an airpark near Dallas
TX. However, I will have to build a hangar-but at least I have room and
a runway. I may be moved in by late April. Till then, I can't get to my
STUFF as it is all packed away. From memory, I can tell you HKS made the
ss turbo for 20Bs raced overseas. The Wastegate line is pointed in the
wrong direction for our uses (toward prop), but so are the ones on all
the TIIs so it is not a big deal. Standard aircraft wastegates will bolt
up to it. Turbo lange faces up/out at an angle, but the clearance to the
oem intake is an issue...but maybe not to the new casting done by Tom
Kendall. I will have to see....
Here's a couple pics. There may be more info in the archive.
