Paul, A new development in radiator design is soon to be offered
by C
& R. It is an inlet/outlet bung that has incorporates an O-ring
for
sealing. With this radiator you can mix and match fittings, AN,
Pipe,
regular hose neck, as you see fit. They just screw in. C & R can
now
offer AN up to 1.25" and they can supply built hoses.

Hi Jerry;........These are known as AND Bosses or Bungs, that can be
easily
purchased, or you can make them yourself if you purchase the contour
cutting
tools (not that expensive) from fitting suppliers such as
Parker-Haniffin,
available from -4 (1/4" tube) and up.
With these tools (they look like short counter bores) you can port
blocks,
plates etc.
They are used on Drill Presses, Millers, Lathes, Hand Drills etc.

IMO, it's the only way to go since they provide a much better and
safer
connection since pipe threads induce wedging forces which usually
leads to
cracking or loose connections, especially in our application where we
experience vibration and extreme temperature changes.

Thanks Butch, I've learned a lot from your postings. Do you have an
opening for an apprentice? Jerry
