Jerry, Thank You for the compliment.........All of us have, and are
still
learning a lot from each other, including crabby Paul, which has on
occassion
tripped on his **** :) But that says a lot for ACRE and
founder.........Also as
most subscribers would agree "You are WAY OVER apprentice level",
even with my
old strict standards!! ;)

BTW Jerry, since it looks like you're going to be an important
vendor/supplier
to the Rotary Clan, are you planning on attending S-N-F with a bag
full of show
& tells? Would also be nice for a lot of us to meet you......It's not
too
shabby here on the Right coast :-)

Your comments open the door for me to say something that needs to be
said.  Many members of this list and also the Tailwind guys who have
known me longer, give me far more credit that I deserve.  I have no
training as a machinist, welder, engineer and so on.  What skills I
have I have taught myself in the last ten years (and they have been
fun) mostly by making mistakes and then adjusting and making more
mistakes and the adjusting.........endless cycle.  I am the fool that
jumps where wise men fear to tread.  You could build three or four
complete airplanes out of the materials I have ruined along the way.
But I don't go to bars and TV is mind deadening so what else am I to
do.  Up front and behind the scenes as well, Paul is the designer I
depend upon.  It is a very secure feeling to know that I have such a
rigorous and honest designer running the numbers.

I will not be able to attend SnF though I would love to.  And, while I
will be at Oshkosh, I will be flying out with a friend in his Tailwind
so there will be no room for any of my stuff.   This year is the 50th
anniversary of the Tailwind and we have a lot planned for that
celebration.  I am looking forward to meeting the rotary guys and
participating in whatever is going on.  Back and forth between the
Tailwinds and the Rotaries.  I am really looking forward to it.
