Toyota pays for all the oil, filter and tire replacement for 3.5 years.
All the electrical part (Batt. Packs etc ) is covered 100% for 100K
miles or
8 years. Vancouver taxi cab drove one Prius for 200K miles without
problems
and Toyota bought it back to study the wear on the car.

I can just see Robin and I taking a Prius taxi home from LAX. ROFL Where
do we put
the luggage? Anybody for an Iseta or a Messershimitt :) Gas prices must be
getting REALLY BAD in Vancouver :)

I have been thinking of getting one mostly for the novelty of it. Even
though
I tend to agree with Paul that at highway cruise the theory does not work,
However stop and go slow speed (where we spend too much of our time)
the Hybrid works fine. Besides the thought of making Paul help me pay
for my new car certainly has merit. - Vance J

Damn! I was looking at a new Toyota Minivan but I guess I'll buy a Dodge
instead :)
