hi all, i have been searching my letters for hours and cannot find the one i need. it was a
fellow, in texas i think, who knew a company that was trying to recondition rotor housings. i
tore down 3 late model 13bs and did not salvage a single rotor housing i would care to install in
an aircraft engine. can any one help. i would buy new ones if the price was reasonable.
HELP!!!!! thanks walt. single rotor in wyo.
Walter, we vagually remember something about that, but didn't keep the message as we have several good
housings, and don't plan to use the cast iron ones anyway. ( well we had several, they have since been
sacrificied on the alter of understanding how they are made, and work.)
We are building our single rotor housings from 7075-T6 aluminum.
Racing Beat and MazdaTrix as well as others do that service, but don't know the price.
Royce
Racing Beat and Mazdatrix reconditions end housings only.
