What are the pro's and against of putting the throttle body before the
turbo compressor.
Mazda uses the 3 throat body for control of low down torque and flexibility but
a fixed pitch prop is quite different.
What are your thoughts on this.

Paul are you say that most of diagrams in the book show the carb or
throttle body on the intake to the compressor.

Yes they are on the intake side but it is hard to blow through a automotive
carb because they are not sealed like an aircraft carb. In some old
turbo and supercharger installations they used to put
the carb in a sealed box and pressurize that.
On the other hand the carb in most supercharged radials is on the intake side.
