Good thing too :) When I did mine which is a lot tighter
than the Mustang I optimized the motor mount and the oil pan
for that position so I could get it up a bit higher. That is
also why I like the psru/motor plate/motor mount as the
main rubber bushings can be well up alongside the engine
maximizing the room under the ring gear for a rad duct.
It was at this early stage of mock up that I realized I had
to get everything out from under the ring gears and the
rear (front in airplane) of the engine as I could.
You lucked out because the Mustang II cowl is so fat :)
For all you new guys. Another example of why it is
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to plan ahead with 3D software or make
a COMPLETE mockup with all major parts before you buy anything!
