I'm going to have a similar block made that will have the 16mm

port (I

think that's what it is) and also include a port for oil feed to

the

re-drive.  If anyone else needs one of these we can make a few

when we

have the setup and save some $.

Finally got the estimate from the machinist on the full flow bypass
block with feed port for the redrive.  It's $75 each; making just three.
I pressed him on the price and he said he'd try to get it lower, but no
guarantee.  Another estimate I got was higher.
One change is that we went to a -10 0-ring thread on the block instead
of the 18 mm, so a standard -10 to -10 flare adapter works.

Please confirm you want the part alventures@msn.com.  (And please don't
back out now because just one is going to cost me $120 :)

BTW, Brian Turbee, I agree your approach is simple and less expensive,
but as I understand it, it preserves the same flow path as the stock
filter, i.e.; it is not full flow.  Oil going through the pressure
control valve to the pan does not go through the filter.
