Yes, true the border may present issues on suing. I don't believe this is a
product liability issue where a manufacturer has produced a faulty product.
Here, the least expensive route is Small Claims Court where for Under $100
you can present your case and force the other guy before a judge. If a
similar process exists in the US it would be interesting to inquire if it
does extend across borders. I doubt it.

Yes we have small claims but I am almost sure you must travel to the site of
the vendor. That could get expensive. Do you know Peter if this is true
in Canada? Can you use small claims in Ontario for someone that is in BC?
