You might buy some of this extrusion and make a sump tank out of

it.

It will dissipate any heat that is in the fuel when the fuel is
recirculated to the sump tank. The neat thing about the sump tank

on

the back of the firewall  is you can see that you have fuel
with a clear plastic sight tube on the instrument panel.
When it starts to go down you know you are in real trouble :)
One peice of this on the floor of the sump tank should be enough.

Perry Mick is probably building an oil pan out of this stuff as we

speak.

How well does JB Weld hold up submersed in oil?
That could be used for both the attachment and heat transfer requirments if
it would hold up. It would be heavy, but you could use standard single side
heatsinks attached to both sides of a thin aluminum pan.

Might work but I would not trust it. If it comes loose in the pan and gets
in the oil system it could plug a critical hole some place.
